"Greatest mind, greatest heart, greatest dad"
Jim "Boz" Boswell was born on April 15, 1968, and he was peacefully called to rest on May 12, 2018 at age 50. He loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, and inventing things to better mankind. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruby, and his mother. Jim leaves behind his legacies: Daniel with his wife Jenna and their two children Bruce and Blake; his only daughter, Haley; and his younger sons Jimmy and Liam. He is also survived by his father, his brother, his sister, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. Jim fought a hard battle: he went through over 15 surgeries due to a congenital heart condition and an electrocution accident while working for Pacific Bell. However, through all the pain and hardships, he kept his award-winning smile and humor. One of his greatest contributions was when he co-founded a non-profit club called the Fresno Fisherman Helpers. As president of this charitable organization, Jim made a difference in countless children's lives, filling a male role model void by "taking a kid fishing" and donating scholarships to assist with their academic success. He had a great mind, a great heart, and he was a great father and friend. Jim Boswell will be greatly missed. His kids can only hope to live up to such an amazing, caring man. “Forever ride in paradise Dad; we love you.”
