John Curtis Kirkham born on July 25, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to the late Alice Jensen Henline and the late George Alvin, passed away at age 87 on July 6, 2018 in Mesa, Arizona. John graduated from high school in 1948. John served in the Army from 1955 to 1957 during the Korean War. Upon returning home, John worked in the oil and gas field followed by owning his own construction business as a General Contractor owner until he retired in 2000. John was the loving husband to his beloved wife, Elizabeth Kirkham for over 60 years until her passing in February 2018. He was preceded in death by his son, John C. Kirkham II; and dog, Otto. John is survived by his sons, Jeffrey S. Kirkham, Paul S. Kirkham, and John "Rick" Anderson; grandchildren, Geoffrey N. Kirkham, Christopher S. Kirkham, Jamie L. Kirkham, Bailey Kirkham, and Blake Kirkham; and nieces, Linda Gyles and Dianne Hutchison. John had a passion for electric organ music. He was a member of VFW.
