Margaret Cecilia Gotchling passed away quietly in her sleep the morning of October 8th, 2017 at Elmcroft assisted living center in Jonesboro, GA. Loving mother to Christopher Rosenbloom, Anne DeWitte (Ed), Ruth Cherri (Al), Mary Turner (Peter), Joanne Dzieszkowski. Grandmother to Teresa Maltby (Jim), Carolyn Alderman (Jake), Ed DeWitte, Kain Cherri, Elizabeth Jones (Karl), Rachel Turner, Hannah Purcell (Nicholas), Grace Turner (Chen Zhao), Timothy Turner (Blair), Daniel Dzieszkowski (Anita), Mark Dzieszkowski, Stephanie Dzieszkowski, Mary Dzieszkowski, Rebecca Rosenbloom, Ashley Rosenbloom, Kimberly Rosenbloom. And Great Grandmother to Stephen, Ryan, Dara, Chad, Caleb, Emily, Cody, Carolyn, Justin, Kasey, Anthony, and Gabriel. Born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, she lived her adult life in Michigan, Florida, Ontario, and Georgia. She was a strong and independent woman who returned to college as an adult and received her nursing degree. For the remainder of her working life, she cared for the elderly as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her love for Jesus Christ was evident to all. She prayed Psalm 91 and Psalm 23 almost daily from memory and gave sacrificially to people in need around the world. She was an activist for human rights; taking a stand for racial reconciliation in the early 1970s and being a voice for unborn children through her work, for many years, with the Catholic Pro-Life organization.
