She had a beautiful smile and loved to make others laugh.

She volunteered at Creeds Elementary, where she was Volunteer of the Year; and at the Senior Resource Center, where she served as secretary. She was a Master gardener with the Virginia Beach Master Gardeners and loved teaching children about gardening and plants. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and family, especially making birthdays and holidays very special and memorable.

She is survived by her devoted children Cindi Rentz Rader and her husband Lou Rader, Craig Rentz and wife Wynne Rentz; brother Dale Stephens; grandchildren Kylee Rader Reisenfeld and husband Sam Reisenfeld; Logan Rader, Kendra Rentz, and Nolan Rentz, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
