Sharon Ann Kaylor passed from this life on September 29, 2018. She was born in Ft. Wayne Indiana on November 29, 1936 to David Keith Kaylor and Viola (Pepe) Kaylor. She was proceeded in death by both of her parents as well as her sister Sandra Rose Kaylor. Sharon joined the Navy at 19 and served for four years mainly in Kingsville NAAS, Texas. Following her honorable discharge, she continued her service with the Naval Reserve. Sharon then graduated from Regis Jesuit-Catholic University with a bachelor’s degree and began a long career of teaching. She loved to teach children of any age. There are several generations of families as well as other individuals whose lives have been blessed by her influence. Sharon enjoyed several years of teaching special needs children at Eldora Ski Resort. She also taught at Holy Family high school in Broomfield, Colorado. She was a gifted story teller and loved to use props with her stories. She once created a “fire” for a story and laughed when some of her students thought it was real. Sharon also taught several classes at Master Drive Driver’s Education and the Red Cross was lucky to have her teach many classes for them over the years. Sharon will be missed by those of us who call her family as well as a multitude of people she called friends. Sharon Kaylor will be honored with a graveside service at the Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder Colorado on Friday Oct. 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
