Sheila graduated from Hilltop high school and then eagerly started her career in the insurance field. Sheila was a hard worker and had a career full of success. The only thing she was more successful at, was being the best mom, grandma, sister & daughter, that anyone could ever ask for.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Bettye and Warren Painter Jr. Sheila is survived by her daughter Vanessa Alexander, son-in-law Steven Jensen, Grandchildren Alexyz Renee, Scott Warren and Tyler Cole. As well as her sister Vicki, her brother and sister-in-law Scott & Kim and her brother and sister-in-law Steve & Nancy.
I personally was lucky enough to have her as my mom. She made me feel like the most loved daughter in the world. There was never a moment that she didn't show me I was her complete world. She was much more than just my mom, she was the best friend I ever had. Her and I used to laugh constantly and spent a rediculously large chunk of our lives shopping together. Out of all the things I thought she was amazing at, none of them could ever compare to her as a grandma. She was the most fun, exciting and loving grandma to my kids. My oldest daughter Alexyz, was lucky enough to get the most memories with my mom. By the time my 2nd child Scott was born, my mom was already begining to become forgetful. Then while pregnant with my son Tyler, my mom was diagnosed with the cruel disease, Early on-set Alzheimer's.
Sheila lived at home and was cared for by her daughter Vanessa and her granddaughter Alexyz, with help from Steve, Scott & Tyler as well.
It was her wish that there be no service. Sheila donated the ultimate gift to science, to help find a cure for Alzheimer's. It is her wishes that instead of flowers that anyone interested, please make a donation in her name to fight Alzheimer's.
For more information, feel free to contact her daughter, Vanessa.
